Most Fun Car to Drive: Audi TT

Fun comes in many forms, especially where cars are concerned. It could be putting your foot down that does it for you, whizzing around corners, or it might even just be travelling comfortably and quietly while the stereo plays your favourite tune.
Luckily, the Audi TT excels in all those areas, and that will be why owners voted it the winner in this category. Alongside the punchy engines, agile handling, comfortable ride and high-tech gadgetry, it also gives buyers a gorgeous cabin, slinky styling and a desirable image. Like most of our awards, this category was decided by feedback collated from a survey of around 10,000 car owners, all of whom rated their car in 16 key areas. That means an Auto Trader New Car Award is a real stamp of approval from people that live with the car day-in, day-out, and it makes each winner a true consumer champion. “I absolutely love this car” and “My TT is awesome!” were just some of the comments owners made about their cars. Our experts are also hugely impressed by the TT, and you can see why in our Expert Review. However, while the TT is brilliant as a fun car, it hasn't quite made our list of the Best Fun Cars. Will one of those take the honours in 2018? Or will one of last year’s runners-up – the Jaguar XF and Mini Hatch – be able to go one better?
