“Comfortable, spacious and economical” – that’s how one delighted owner described our winner of the Best Hybrid Car, Honda’s excellent CR-V family SUV. And we can’t really put it any more succinctly than that ourselves; this is a car that just does everything you want it to, without fuss and without drama.
Presumably why another CR-V owner said “It’s the best car I’ve ever owned – responsive and quick off the mark.” Of course, the Honda’s clever ‘i-MMD’ petrol-electric hybrid system makes it cheap to run, too, for a vehicle of this class and size. But there’s more to it than that, as another owner remarked. “The car feels like you’re floating, it’s so smooth to drive, powerful, frugal, great comfort and it’s well built.
