New Toyota Yaris prices announced

The all new, third generation Toyota Yaris will have a more grown-up look when it goes on sale later this year, priced from £11,170. And it backs up that aggressive pose with a range of beefed up engines with better fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions thanks to innovations in weight saving and aerodynamics.

The third incarnation of the popular Toyota Yaris supermini will arrive in the UK this summer. It continues the “compact outside, spacious inside” approach first pioneered by the original MINI. Clever packaging of the car’s components allows for adequate leg and headroom and a decent boot.

New Toyota Yaris breaks cover

These are the first official pictures of the new Toyota Yaris, which is expected to arrive in the UK in late 2011. No official information has been released for UK cars yet, but the Japanese manufacturer’s home-market model – christened the Vitz – has been unveiled, and the car you’ll be able to buy in just under a year should be much the same.

Top 10 most reliable used cars for £3,000

The Honda Jazz has been named the most reliable used car for under £3,000. According to research by Warranty Direct, the Jazz is the car least likely to leave its driver stranded on the hard shoulder, as well as being cheap to repair if it does break down.
