Improved Seat Exeo now in showrooms
The 2012 model year Seat Exeo is now available in showrooms, sporting a refreshed look and a revised diesel engine. Starting at £19,480, the Exeo range comes with a choice of two petrol engines: a 1.8-litre available in 118bhp and 158bhp guises and a 2.0-litre with a choice of 197bhp or 208bhp.

The SEAT Exeo is a well-equipped executive car sold as a saloon and an estate, and is based on the old model, 2001 launched Audi A4. Both makes are part of the Volkswagen group, so the idea made solid commercial sense.

Don't get the new Seat Exeo ST mixed up with one of Ford's go-faster models, here the 'ST' moniker stands for 'Sports Tourer'. This is the estate variant of the Seat Exeo saloon and it's based on the last-generation Audi A4 Avant.
