Corsa Active 1.2
VAUXHALL CORSA 1.2 Active 5dr [AC] (Review date: 10th October '14)
Nippy car for size of engine
Need to sell, no longer require this car, as another has been made available for me to use
Good as a small family car, even with the 3 car seats for the grandchildren when required
Full service history, regularly maintained
Fuel consumption good around town and better on longer journeys
Excellent, solid, reliable unit!
VAUXHALL CORSA 1.2i 16V SXi 3dr (Review date: 5th October '14)
I cannot speak highly enough of this car.
I owned the SXi, which came with alloys, sports seats, steering wheel adjustments, fog lamps and more all as standard.
Looks-wise, it is impressive. It is a hatchback and doesn't claim to be anything different, but it does catch they eye, with a well balanced bodywork and wheels that stand out.
It drives very well. It doesn't make your hairs stand on end and being front wheel drive, means it is liable for the front end to go awry round corners, but it is a solid drive nonetheless with no surprises. Driving position is very good and can be adjusted in many different ways.
The car needs very little attention. The battery has lasted over 60,000 miles and is still going strong.
All in all, this is an exceptional car for the money. The driving position and running costs will appeal to the older driver, while the good looks and cheap insurance, will appeal to the young. And neither will be disappointed.
Great little car
VAUXHALL CORSA 1.2i 16V Limited Edition 3dr (Review date: 9th August '14)
I've had this car for 3 years now and it has never let me down. It looks sporty and cheap to insure (great for a first time driver). The ride is very comfortable whether your just driving around town or on a long journey, average mpg is 41, running costs are very low full tank is only costing me £50. Currently being used everyday for personal use. Overall a great little car.
Fantastic little car
VAUXHALL CORSA 1.3 CDTi ecoFLEX SXi 5dr [AC] (Review date: 27th May '14)
After driving a 2.2 ltr Omega for 8 years and then a 2 ltr turbo Saab I was more than a little apprehensive about buying a small economical car, but this car was a revelation. It's comfortably, quick and so economical. I have only had it two weeks but love it already, the engine is just amassing in the 95 bhp form, coupled with a slick 6 speed gear box. and even driving round hilly north Devon I am getting mid 50's to the gallon. Just Brilliant.
Corsa 1.2 SE
VAUXHALL CORSA 1.2 SE 3dr (Review date: 20th April '14)
A very comfortable car, but don't make the mistake of buying a 1.2 unless you are doing less than 20 miles a day.
The SE model is well equipped with heated seats, heated steering wheel, electric windows, air-conditioning, etc.
The 'real' average MPG is around 46. On a gentle drive, you could stretch it to 52 - But don't expect to get any where quickly.
Although the car is small in size, the interior layout makes the inside feel spacious and open. There isnt a lot of space for #### #### passengers though....
VAUXHALL CORSA 1.6T VXR Nurburgring Edition 3dr (Review date: 23rd January '14)
What can i say, in my opinion, it does what it says on the tin. I did'nt buy this car for it to do 60 mpg, i bought it for it's good looks( and it does turn heads )and its pure adrenalin. This car will keep up with a lot of other cars that you would pay silly money for. I love it, you hit the floor and the turbo will over boost and pin you to the back of the seat.Or you can drive around town in sixth gear at thirty mph, no problem. I have some nippy cars in my time, ( polo gti, 206 gti, ) but the vxr wins hands down, i love it.

VAUXHALL CORSA 1.2i 16V Limited Edition 5dr (Review date: 31st December '13)
Had this car for 3 years, never let me down, looks sporty and cheap to insure. I have owned the previous model corsa but with a 1.3cdti engine, if I had my time again would pick the diesel any time it's worth the extra money gives more low down torque and is nippier around town, the petrol appears sluggish but if you use as a town car it's fine, but don't expect great fuel economy, 34 is my average which isn't good for this type of car. Quality is good and ride is smooth, the lifetime warranty is also good it's a shame it's not transferable which is a good selling point, but you don't have to use main dealer to qualify for this as services are more expensive that said the work carried out at main dealer has always been good. In summary a great little car for the money.
VAUXHALL CORSA 1.2i 16V Life 5dr (Review date: 22nd December '13)
This is my girlfriends car but i drive it aswell nearly every single common fault with these cars has gone wrong with this one and the main one was that the oil timing wasn't correct and could of seriously damaged the engine expensive job coz out of warranty I had to pay for it the blowers have just packed in the oil switch in the engine bay packed in and lost all the oil out of that and the dashboard didn't say the oil was low but I check it regularly. it judders a when setting off when it's cold but when it warms up nice to drive. the rear window does not clear just endless problems with this car
VERDICT never get a vauxhall again nightmare
