A veritable Tardis on wheels!
PEUGEOT PARTNER TEPEE 1.6 HDi 112 Outdoor 5dr (Review date: 15th February '11)

I bought this car as a motability customer, needing something with loads of room for my disabled equipment and to cope with 2 teen aged kids who have a lot of outdoor interests. From the outside it has an eye-catching shape with large, easy to get into, front doors. The rear passenger doors are sliding, and again allow for easy entry and exit, as well as loads of space to attach child seats and the like. The seats are firm and very comfortable on longer trips, with easy to adjust settings for position and height. The rear seats are configured as a split 2+1 bench with 3 point belts for all 3 passengers. The rear seats can be folded down, tilted up and completely removed to extend the already huge boot space. (I can easily put my "mobility scooter" in the boot with 3 passengers on the back seats.) The controls are well placed and fairly easy to use, the gear stick takes a moment to get used to, it is placed high and forward, almost coming out of the dash!
There are storage places everywhere, with the jack and tool kit in an under floor space under the front passenger seat, easy to get to in the event of a flat tyre, and the full sized spare tyre is hung under the back of the car, so no need to empty the boot to get to it. It also has a built in INTERIOR roof rack, ideal to put valuable snow boards, fishing rods or other things like that on, there were even 2 webbing straps included to fix things to the rack with!
If I have to find fault then it could do with better blind spot coverage from the huge rear view mirrors, and interior mats as standard.
The 112 BHP HDi diesel engine pulls well, even when fully loaded and we have been getting 47MPG in daily use, school/shopping runs etc and a very impressive 53MPG fully loaded on a400 mile round trip. To sum up, a lot of car for the money.
