Is the challenger one of the best most undervalued 4x4`s on the market ? I think so ! First & fore most it is Japanese which means `reliable` lets face it a 4x4 that won`t start is 2 ton of pushing & sweating, the challenger is comfortable & I think looks good, bags of room for all the family the dog & the toolbox, picnic box, granny whatever ! I have had over 30 4x4`s from £50k Range Rovers to £500 Sportrak`s & pound for pound the challenger is No1. But listen this is the best bit, my challenger averages 25mpg around the hills & dales of Yorkshire on bio diesel at £1.00 per litre !!!!! look no further for a 4x4.

This is a good all round vehicle i do a lot of shooting on farms and i find this vehicle copes with everything i throw at it , average mileage is about 19 mpg around the town and about 26 - 27 on a run.
My family feel safe when travelling in this vehicle and i think its a pleasure to drive it can be a bit noisy on the motorway but that is something you expect from a quality 4X4 , i have owned other 4x4s and can honestly say i will never leave Mitsubishi 4x4s
A go any 4x4 that will never let you down!

The Challenger is rugged and totally reliable. In 10 years it has never missed a beat. It's great off road and a spacious load carrier.
It has a pickup truck chassis, so the ride is far from smooth and the petrol V6 averages about 20 MPG.
But it's a price worth paying, especially if you don't want to be part of the Discovery crowd.
