FORD STREETKA 1.6i Winter Edition 2dr (Review date: 20th August '13)
I loved my streetka and was very sad to see her go!
I paid £5,000 for a 2006 winter edition street ka 2 years ago and could never have got another car with all the luxury extras for that price. Heated leather sport seats, aircon and heated front and back windscreen. is a great sporty looking two seather car and was lovley to drive on a hot summers day with the roof down. I especially like the fact the roof had its own colour coded compartment that stored the roof away neatly instead of it just sitting on the boot like most convertibles. I didnt have any problems with the car apart from the door handle going on the passengers side, this was easily fixed by a part from the garage fitted by my other half.
Great boot space for shopping
Only gripe is the road tax is abit steep for a car of this size
Great little sports car with epic wheels. Sad to see it go.
FORD STREETKA 1.6i 2dr (Review date: 7th July '13)
I have never had to take this car to a garage - besides for its MOT - a first in my 7 years of driving. My first baby is due in 7 weeks and I have held out as long as possible before giving up this car as I just love the way it drives. I have always felt safe in this car and when the roof is down it is absolute bliss.
Think carefully before buying!!
FORD STREETKA 1.6i 2dr (Review date: 4th December '12)
Black 53 example, fantastic car and loved everything about it..........until!!! Starter Motor 265.00, Clutch 380.00, Coil Springs (Front and Back) 450.00........the list is endless. Spent 1700.00 buying my favourite car of all time and just as much to maintain it, but these are not built to last. I'm single so suited my lifestyle, very nippy, fun, drives great when everything working properly and a head turner! Not economical on petrol, insurance or road tax....... (".)
FORD STREETKA 1.6i Luxury 2dr (Review date: 21st November '12)
yes a male review at last, haha, ive always loved the styling of the streetka, especially in the summer with the roof down, i bought a black 53 plate with 54000 on the clock, was a bargain at only 1000.00 pounds, it did have the dreaded engine warning light on when i bought it but i guessed it was dud to a lamba sensor fault i had it tested by a ford dealer and confirmed the sensor, repalced at cost if 160.00, 1 month later the light is back on, again diagnosed at the other lambe sensor, pre cat one, again replaced at 160.00, so far stayed off, ive also had the suspension arms and rear bushes replaced at cost of 320.00, this was advisd on the mot i had done, the brakes are not great on these but ive cleaned and adjusted the rears and much better now, the car starts and drives great, a lot of fun to own, fuel consumption is ok, not brilliant but not a disaster either, ive had the car mainly resprayed and had the alloys painted and replaced the badges and a few other parts, oh the air con was leaking too, down to a split pipe which i sourced off ebay for 50.00 fitted and regased to find the compressor is seized, so i will live without till next summer and find one on ebay for about 100.00, these cars do have some bad faults but some may well be fine altogether, i would look at a few and drive them to find the best you can afford, service history is a must to ensure it has been well mantained, i bought mine very cheap knowing it needed some work doing, but i do like it very much, looks amazing when clean and they do atract a lot of looks, not a lot seen on road so they are different, just shop around and buy a good one.
FORD STREETKA 1.6i Red 2dr (Review date: 18th August '12)
Im a independent motor trader but often come across Streetka's and each time I have one I realise how good they are
Its not a Boxster but for not much money you get a bit of fun, cute looking car but its actually better than you would think for everyday use.
Cheap as chips to run as all parts are easy to get & easy to fit & fix
If you are wanting a roadster i'd have this ahead of many at similar price, so if you get a chance buy one you will be glad you did
FORD STREETKA 1.6i Luxury 2dr (Review date: 19th April '12)
good car for single person or couple, decent boot space , excellent heater, quite economical and cheap parts.road tax a bit steep but hey ho. gonna keep mine for about a year then move it on, for time being it will do!. had it half an hour and developed a fault, running on 3 cylinders and engine management light on. guess coilpack £23 later and 5 mins changing old one, good as new again.
My super car
FORD STREETKA 1.6i Luxury 2dr (Review date: 19th January '12)
I love my car its practical just for me to and from work
Its fast, luxurious and i love it. It drives smooth and even tho its a 1.6 petrol is genorous. The best 2220 pound i ever ever spent. I have had it since august 2011 and when the sun comes out so does the roof. All i can say is FABULOUS!
I realy like my streetka

FORD STREETKA 1.6i Winter Edition 2dr (Review date: 21st November '11)
What a fun car, I trade cars & keep some for a while if I like them,(yes I am a man!!! ha ha) it is just fun for relatively low cost purchase price & running costs, they dont appear to have aged looks wise so still super trendy & the fun bit is how it drives.
Try buying a Mini or Beetle soft top for this sort of cash!!!
I will be sad to see it go when the time comes.
I gave 5 for practicality as if you are buying a 2 seater you know it only seats 2, the point I make is the space & comfort among roadsters is great with good boot size.
PS I have the 'Winter Edition' with the removable hard top which is the highest spec & well worth it looks great roof on or off.
