This is just a very pleasant clean car with all electrics, leather, Bluetooth phone kit and a Sat Nav !, Looks great and drives clean, ###### ### feel a touch of class and comfort with everything being electric it is very up to date, it has MOT and Tax and a FULL service history ! you just can't go wrong for that type of money !

I have 03 plate with 190 000 on the clock. Typical low budget car. A bit too noisy inside. Great for motorway. Cheap for repairs, big spares market. Last two years was troubleless, but now is not worth of repairs. Good workhorse, average mpg 30 urban and 50 motorway. A bit too softy suspension. Unfortunatelly last two months is like avalanche of faults. Injectors, alternator, windows remote, air conditioning, so, is better to avoid high mileage examples
Mondeo MK3 2.5 V6
J2YRC | 19th January '12
Previously owned 3 Vectra's and and Mk2 Mondeo I have owned the car for almost a year now and it's been awful! Coil pack went, then Idle Air ByPass Valve, then the braking system... I've had the discs and pads replaced twice!!
Fuel consumption is worse than my V6 Vectra GSi which had more power, never went wrong and in my opinion looked better...
It was a total mistake buying this car, if I were to ever get another mondeo it would have to be the ST220, but when I get rid of this one (which will be soon hopefully) I am going back to Vauxhall!!
Excellent Value For Money

I find it is a very reliable spacious car with low running costs for the size of the vehicle, this is my second mondeo & I would not hesitate to purchse another one especially the diesel engine model.

Truly a great car to own and drive. Great family car. I just love it.
Being the GHIA X it comes with everything you could ever want. Cheap to service and run. Great for family days out.

MONDEO - BEST CAR AROUND?
paulB | 11th June '11
This is the best car a family can own in my opinion. Spacious comfortable practical safe and cheap as chips to repair,
The only downside is they can be a little bit thirsty but for the cost of them you get one hell of a motor.
Fabulous but totally underated until you own one

Until you own a Mondeo you will never know how good they are, the V6 2.5L 170bhp version gives the best of all worlds to the driver. A huge grin everytime you get in and drive, this is a car to relish, comfort, speed, handling, reliability. Okay the downside is its fuel consumption... 25 - 35 or so mpg... but who cares, how many other cars at this price gives such fun and a huge grin every time you use it.. Buy one and enjoy life, you can get a good one for the price of a 3 door corser or fiesta... ugh...
Company car - Any good for the family?
stephenW | 14th May '11
Simple answer is 'Yes' it has plenty of room, enough get-up-and-go and is economical
Reasonably well built provided you don't compare it to BMW but is good enough for day-to-day use
I covered nearly 100,000 miles in mine and suffered only a siezed brake caliper apart from wear items (tyres/pads) so can't complain about reliability
This is the Diesel 2 litre TDCI version
One small criticism is that the gearbox is heavy and feels a little agricultural (diplomatic speak for feels like a tractor) this does not affect long journeys too badly but is quite hard work around town.
Seats are ok but not brilliant and I'm not a fan of the heated windscreen as the wires are visible and can be distracting.
It did everything it was supposed to do adequately, sometimes I was left wishing it did something remarkable, but it didn't.
