FORD MONDEO 2.0TDCi 130 Titanium 5dr [Euro 4] (Review date: 27th November '10)
There has always been "the Ford Man" or the "Honda Man" or the man who will always stick to one make. I have never been one of those, until now. I have had a massive variation of cars in my lifetime, and had varying success's with each of them, including BMW and Mercedes. The Mondeo I drive now has certainly made me understand why a satisfied customer could end up sticking to the one make. The Mondeo is BULLETPROOF. I drive it every day and even though I am not that keen on my Job, I am keen to get into the car to make the drive to work. The car is just a pleasure to drive and to own. it has always been able to carry the things I need to carry, without worrying about space, it is Massive. It has jsut completed 147000 miles and when sendint it for it's recent MOT, I was dreading to find out what I would need to pay for. Low and behold NOTHING. It flew through the MOT with just the cost of a new Bulb. It is a Diesel Engine that performs like a Turbo'd petrol engine, and gives you that kick, when you need to accelarate fast, it even gives you the feeling of a bit of TURBO LAG, before the engine thrusts you to the speed you need. I cannot compliment Ford enough for the Comfort that has been built into this vehicle, no matter what size or shape you are in, this car will make you feel better about yourself, because you know you made the right decision to buy this car.
