FERRARI CALIFORNIA Convertible 2009 on

Having had 911 turbo, F430, Maserati GT and a Lamborghini Gallardo in the same time I've own the California I would say it is simply the best "all-rounder", as the other cars have come and gone and I have kept this car the longest for good reasons.

The California is quick and very confident, it does have a very similar engine to the F430 supercar by the way, and hence it’s really good to drive. I would say it is more like a supercar trying to be a GT rather than a lot of GT's that are trying to be supercars such as Maserati, Bentley or Aston Martins.

It benefits greatly from having four seats, although the back seats are kids sized but good for luggage etc. and a superb electrically operated hard top that drops down in no time at all, far less wind noise and the other problems people suffer with rag-top convertibles, believe me I know. In the California you feel like you're in a normal coupe with the roof up and when it's down it’s simply fantastic to drive open-topped.

I have owned this car about a week now and all i can say is what a machine! It drives as well as it looks! I also own an Aston Martin DB9 but this beats it hands down. Overall I would definitely recommend it!
