Fantastic all rounder - good for the family trips and motorway commutes, and great fun on the a roads
It loves petrol so be ware conservative driving will return around 25 mpg combined
I purchased the car after owning a number of BMWs and with the winters getting worse I wanted something with AWD, yet to try but hoping its an improvement on the RWD
After owning an Impreza wrx a decade ago I'm hoping this will be equally as reliable and fun to drive for the next couple of years

I own the Special Edition Audi A4 Dynamik 2.0TFSI.
The A4 Dynamik is a limited special edition only 400 Made for Uk Customers only. The Dynamik has a exclusive Bodykit including side skirts, Rear spoiler( Not a big one) , Front splitter, Rear diffusers where the exhausts are. It also has Black and Silver Wheels 19" Wheels (Complimented all the time ! ) Black Front Grille and black around the Windows. To finish it off it has been lowered by 20mm from the standard Audi A4. All of this is fitted factory standard to make the Dynamik an "Exclusive Edition"
There is no other way i can describe it but FANTASTIC !
It is Spacious for a family of 5, Split Folding Rear Seats as standard comfortable Leather. It also has a Space Saver Spare Wheel as standard which is incredibly useful unlike a Bmw.
It is very Smooth fast and Responsive and will pick up quickly in any Gear. With the Quattro there at all times. You will never loose Grip even if you accelerate off the line as hard as you can.The Steering is light and Easy.
In the snow although it has 255/35/19 Summer Tyres fitted it is like a Snow Plough. It gets through it with ease.
I have driven 18000 Hard miles and i only just need to replace the Dunlop Sp Sport Maxx Gt tyres which come with every Dynamik from New. It also has even tyre Wear which is a bonus. It is Very reliable not had any major problems, But if you are purchasing a A4 Dynamik then watch out for the Side Skirts and the Spoiler as they may be loose as this happened to me.
It is pretty good on fuel for its staggering performance although it does use alot of Oil as does any Audi 2.0TFSI this is also stated in the Handbook.
It never stops getting compliments off people. Everywhere it goes !
It looks staggering beuatiful !
If you are thinking of buying an A4 go for the Dynamik (Preferably a Red Manual A4 Saloon) and you will not regret your purchase guaranteed !

Very good German saloon with minor flaws.
AUDI A4 2.0 TDI 170 S Line 4dr (Review date: 15th October '12)

Hi,
I've had the car for over a year and a half now, put over 25k miles on the clock- to a total of 96k. So far so good.
What I like mostly about it:
- engine is plenty quick, yet economical
- spacious and well made
- sticks to the road
- good stereo
All in all it is a pleasure to look at, and to drive.
How about the flaws? The only problem I've had in the car was the DPF system. I do quite a lot of short journeys, and it seems the car can't regenerate the filter this way. Since I hit 70k I would see the DPF warning from time to time and had to take it on the motorway, which is a nuisance to say the least. Dealer's price for replacing- horrendous, and they give no warranty. Finally after a lot of research had the DPF removed completely, and guys from OMG Performance have also modified the software and switched the filter off. After this- never had to take it to motorway again when I didn't want to.
Now I can say the car is as close to perfect as it can be and I definitely would buy it again! Also can recommend it to anyone, but if you use in twon- you'll need to deal with the DPF sooner or later.

A4 2.7 V6 aut pleasure to drive
AUDI A4 2.7 TDI SE 4dr Multitronic (Review date: 29th September '12)
4.8
I'm writing this review nearly one year after selling my car. Unfortunately I needed money for house deposit.
The first advise for all buyers. Before you look at the rating given by others, read carefully their comments.
First about the car. Before A4 V6 2.7 I had an Audi A8 V8 3.7 quattro from 2004 so there were high expectations. The only disadvantage was lack of 4x4 and maybe a bit worse seats. I was really happy with my car. Acceleration, space, the quality, the engine and gearbox, everything was perfect. My car had top specification with B&O sound system, rear camera, ventilated electric seats and so on. It was a pleasure to drive it. Really nice car, nice driving and a bit easier in town as A4 is shorter than A8.
And then when you read comments written by people having a car with 2.0 engine and expecting a Ferrari acceleration etc, just think about seriousnes of these comment. Before buying my next car I read some reviews. I found one guy describing 2-door coupe car of not being practical and not being a family car. Was it a joke? I don't know. Once again, before taking decision about buing any car, read comments carefully. Ps. sorry for any gramma mistakes, I come from PL :-)

A superb car, but flawed!
AUDI A4 2.0 TDI Quattro 170 SE 4dr (Review date: 6th March '12)

This is a superb car. Quiet, comfortable and very economical (45 mpg around town, 55 mpg on motorway runs, which for a Quattro with scintillating performance is not bad). The engine is a real gem, pulling like a train from about 1200 rpm, which means you can change up at 1800 rpm. Most engines would hate that, but this one just loves it. No wonder the car is so quiet and economical!
I am also pleased with the SE version. I borrowed an S-Line when mine was in for service, and could feel every blemish in the road surface, even on the motorway. You don't get that with the SE.
But if, like me, you buy a Quattro to keep you going in the snow, then you will be bitterly disappointed. When it left the factory it was fitted with summer tyres (Continental Sports Contact 2) which are absolutely useless in even the smallest of snowfalls. In Germany, by law, all cars have to be fitted with winter tyres in the winter months, so all cars leave the factory with summer tyres fitted. Everyone has to buy an extra set of tyres (usually together with extra wheels) for the winter. Good for business, but not good for the pocket, and completely unnecessary in the UK. A simple case of the German’s imposing their values on the UK motorist, I fear. I had my previous A4 Quattro for 13 years and it was brilliant in the snow, even deep snow, but then it was fitted with normal’ tyres. So when I replace the tyres on this car I shall be very careful which one I choose.
One other weakness is the Satnav. My wife has a £120 Tomtom for her car, which tells her where all the speed cameras are, warns her any time she is exceeding the speed limit and navigates her perfectly wherever she needs to go. The one fitted by Audi to my A4 does none of these things. No speed camera detection, no speed warnings, and occasional unreliable navigation. We live in a rural location and the Audi insists on taking me on a three mile detour every time I get anywhere near home. It gets me there in the end, via a bridleway a mile long!
But I still love the car, and hopefully will have some better tyres fitted by next winter. Oh, and my wife’s Tomtom has mysteriously disappeared - I can’t imagine where it is gone!

AUDI A4 2.0 TDI 143 S Line 4dr (Review date: 3rd February '12)

Great car, good size for my family (2 kids). Boot is slightly bigger than the last model a4 which i owned and comes with luggage net aswell. Rear seats and leg room good size, also rear doors have door pockets like front doors do. The rear heater vents are a good touch aswell, especially at this time of year. Centre console and front arm rest is a good storage area and it also has a 12v socket and ipod/aux socket. The hand brake is a tad annoying as its a switch not traditional lever and is awkward to apply sometimes. The car drives well and handles well. Although the 143 bhp is not that quick as i have resorted to getting mine remapped and i am now a lot more happy with it. I would definateley recommend one of these cars.

although my car is reliable and cheap to run for what it is....it's a pig to drive.
it might be cheap run, but premium tyres will set you back over £250 each unless you purchase online for a saving.
the chassis have no flexibility at all, you find yourself holding on for dear life on the motor especially when changing lanes.
the problem is it follows all undulations of the road so it gets pulled towards the uneven surface
it's still nice to drive at low speeds and quite too for a diesel
i find the steering a little too heavy going around bends and find myself locked into position unable to move, so you need to be careful as the seats don't seem to hold you in place safely enough.
also from a cold start, first gear into second is very clunky and not much better when warm.
Audi said its a normal characteristic of this vehicle, they also stated the A5 also does it!?!? not great advertising!
there were a few minor niggles which Audi sorted under warranty no problems but you do notice the level of service drop when your vehicle is older and out of warranty.
glamorous car to look at (side profile)

Best Audi I've owned!
AUDI A4 2.0T FSI S Line 4dr (Review date: 12th November '11)
4.3
My 3rd Audi (previous model A4 2.0T s-line and A5 1.8T SE preceded it) and the best yet. Love the look of the car, the standard kit on the executive model and best of all the engine- easily get 40+mpg on my daily drive and yet it'll go like a rocket. Ride can be a bit harsh on uneven roads but much better than my last A4, despite 19" wheels on this one. Build quality is typically Audi - top notch and can't fault the ergonmics. I've had this one for nearly 2 years and would have another one in an instant!!
