ABARTH PUNTO EVO 1.4 Turbo 3dr (Review date: 11th November '12)
Abarth punto evo,has exceeded all expectations, frequently receives comments on certain forums referring to fiat reliability,we are not in the 1970s any more .,I would refer those people to the fact that fiat /abarth are way above the German makers in all departments ,18000 miles of total reliability, exceptional handling ,very good build quality, some of the materials used have a feeling of cheapness but are assembled very very well,I have experienced cars with better interior materials that were poorly assembled eg mini, audi .exclusive definitely ,only 250 ish registered annually.and just stunning visually ,(personal opinion)not the fastest hot hatch but more than quick enough for any British road .very very impressive little motor.

ive had the car for over 6 months now and ive just passed the 6000 mile mark so i thought i give you an update.
the car is fine and ive had no problems with it at all. the exhaust note has matured nicely and has a lovely 'throrty' noise on hard acceleration. i have a heavy right foot because of this and im achieving about 34mpg on average. i spend all my time in sport mode so i think i could achieve much more if i needed to.
unfortunatly ive had a few problems with the tomtom sat nav, im about to be given a 3rd one, hopefully this one wont give up on me like the other two have.
there are not many of these on the road at all, the 500 version is much more popular for some reason i dont know why. ive had a few nice comments from people who werent even aware this model excisted.
so, all is well :)

ive had the car now for about 2 months. im a member of the abarth forum so i read a few of the issues some people have had, but i can honestly say nothing has gone wrong so far, and ive had the car from new. it looks good, the sound from the exhaust improves with every mile. there isnt that much room in the back but its ok for short journeys, and boot space is ample for the size of car.
the most impressive thing with the car is that it just keeps pulling, even in 6th it will readline before it gives up. having 'raced' against a few of it competitors, they have been surprised just how well i keep up and even overtake.
one more thing, i love the alloys :D
