Revised MX-5 on sale in December

The refreshed Mazda MX-5 roadster and roadster coupe will go on sale in the UK from December 1. The facelifted model gets a modified nose and a more pedestrian-friendly bonnet, whilst some models now come with TomTom satellite navigation. It also now gets side airbags, climate control and a revised chassis.
There are now seven variants of the MX-5 and this mid-life refresh has introduced a new model – the 2.0-litre Sport Tech Nav which comes with sat nav as standard, a first for the MX-5. This new model also gets Bluetooth and iPod connectivity and complete multi-media functionality with a 5.8-inch touchscreen integrated into the dash.
New equipment available across the range includes climate control and dark grey dashboard and steering wheel inserts. Sport Tech and Powershift models benefit from an auto-dimming rear-view mirror and Sport Tech variants get alloy pedals.
There is also an extended range of paints to choose from, including Sparkling Black Mica and Crystal White Pearlescent. Also available is True Red Solid and Stormy Blue Mica.
There are three combinations of engine and gearbox to choose from; a 1.8-litre four cylinder mated to a five-speed manual or a 2.0-litre engine which can be combined with either a six-speed manual ‘box or the dual-clutch PowerShift system.
The MX-5 will be priced between £18,495 and £23,595 on the road and is available with 0% APR and zero deposit.
