Steven Gerrard’s old Audi A3 for sale

Liverpool and England star Steven Gerrard is the only owner of this 2006 Audi A3 TDi which was wife Alex Curran’s daily run around.

Under the bonnet is a 2-litre diesel engine developing 170bhp and enabling a 0-62mph time of 7.8 seconds and top speed of 138mph.

It’s also fitted with the brilliant semi-automatic ‘S Tronic’ gearbox which means effortless gear changes via steering wheel-mounted controls.

The ‘S Line’ spec means Gerrard’s old Audi gets 18-inch alloy wheels, leather seats along with a Bose sound system.

Other features on the diesel hot hatch include an alarm and immobiliser, all-round electrics, park assist and a four star EuroNCAP crash test rating. 

Steven Gerrard is one of the world’s best footballers, most famous for captaining Liverpool to the 2005 Champions League trophy when the reds beat AC Milan on penalties.

But Liverpool have struggled this season, getting knocked out of the Champions League and currently sitting sixth in the Premiership – 13 points behind leaders Chelsea.

The midfielder is well known for his love of Range Rovers, having had three models sold on Auto Trader in the past two years – with two of them modified by Overfinch.

The Audi A3 is the EIGHTH ex-Steven Gerrard car to appear on Auto Trader in less than three years following:

He also has a Range Rover customised by Strut while Alex has been snapped in the past three years driving a Mercedes CL500, BMW X6, Overfinch Range Rover, Bentley Continental GT, Bentley Continental GTC and Audi Q7.

Despite having the keys to these flash motors, the 27-year-old still managed to rack up 50,000 miles in the Audi which is being sold by Harrogate-based Redline Specialist cars.

While Gerrard is the Audi A3’s only registered keeper, he is no longer the owner of the vehicle which can be yours for £14,995.
