Cristiano Ronaldo is back in the motoring headlines after his Bentley was photographed getting a parking ticket.
The Man United star’s Bentley Continental GT Speed was ticketed by a traffic warden after being parked at a bus stop in the posh Cheshire town of Alderley Edge.
Ronaldo was later snapped as he got into the £137,000 supercar, accompanied by a male companion who retrieved the fine from the Bentley’s windscreen.
The 23-year-old Portuguese winger – who has just been name FIFA World Player of the Year – hit the front pages earlier this month after his £200,000 Ferrari 599 crashed in a tunnel near Manchester Airport.
Ronaldo’s Italian supercar was badly damaged but the United player miraculously emerged from the vehicle unscathed – and even attended training the same day.
The Continental GT Speed is the fastest ever Bentley thanks to a 6-litre engine which develops 610bhp.
All this power accelerates the Crewe-built car from 0-62mph in 4.3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 202mph.
