A top tuning company has been the first to transform the looks – and performance - of the new Audi A5 coupe.

Abt Sportsline has produced a tuning and styling package for the A5 and describes its finished work – dubbed the AS5 – as a 'sensual car'.

• Abt has tuned the A5's 3-litre diesel engine to produce around 300bhp – 28bhp more than standard
• While no official performance figures are available, the AS5 should accelerate to 62mph in around 5.5 seconds
• Top speed is said to be an electronically-limited 155mph
• Abt offers a choice of unique two-tone paint jobs – black over white or white over gold
• A tailor-made bodykit comprises of deep front and rear bumpers, side skirt, rear spoiler and gill-shaped vents on the front wings
• The rear bumper has a F1-style 'diffuser' to channel airflow for high-speed stability
