Alfa plans ownership package

Alfa plans ownership package - News image

22 October 2004

Alfa Romeo is plotting a new ownership package that covers all servicing costs and pan-European breakdown assistance for up to five years or 100,000 miles.

The scheme was launched in Italy last month and is being rolled out across Europe. However, at this stage Alfa Romeo has not committed to a launch date in Britain and is still evaluating costs.

Similar servicing packages from BMW and Honda cost between £300 and £500 for five years, while Mini's similar tlc package is just £100. Each scheme covers scheduled maintenance costs for parts and labour over five years.

The proposed Alfa package is designed to regain motorists' satisfaction with the quality of their car and the service they received from dealers.
