Ford has announced just 1,000 of the new Two-Tone Kas will be made

One of Britain’s best-selling superminis has been given an 11th birthday makeover – the limited edition Ford Ka Two-Tone.

Ford is offering the venerable supermini with a choice of four body colours: panther black, ocean, sea grey and a new blazer blue.

And buyers can choose any colour of mirror and bumper – as long as it’s silver.

But you’ll have to be quick. Ford has announced just 1,000 of the new Two-Tone Kas will be made.

The special edition will be based on the current Zetec Climate and Style Climate trim levels, which are fitted with a 1.3-litre 70bhp engine.

But don’t be put off by the humble performance figures – the Ka was introduced to acclaim on its launch in 1996 and remains one of the best handling superminis available – Ford revealed this year alone, sales of the Ka have reached 22,000 so far.

Prices for the Ka Style Climate Two-Tone and the Ka Zetec Climate Two-Tone start at £7,995.
