Frank Sinatra's Chrysler for sale
16 January 2007 by Adrian Hearn The last car to be driven by American music and film legend Frank Sinatra is for sale on Auto Trader. Sinatra’s 1985 automatic Chrysler LeBaron was a gift from wife Barbara. Ol’ Blue Eyes owned the motor until 1991 when he gave up driving. Powered by a 2.2-litre engine, the LeBaron produces 146bhp and 168 lb/ft of pulling power. The fully-loaded model boasts a leather interior, all-round electric windows, cruise control and has covered 77,777 miles. Sinatra – whose hits include Come Fly With Me and New York, New York - sold more than 250 million records over a career spanning seven decades. The New Jersey-born performer died in California in 1998 at the age of 82. The Mafia-linked star’s cars have fetched large amounts in the past with a 1970 Lamborghini Miura going under the hammer for £150,000 in 2003.
