subaru-legacy-estate

Subaru Legacy estate (2009 – ) expert review

The Subaru Legacy is a great alternative to the more predictable German offerings. It’s reliable, spacious and well-equipped. However, it isn't as good to drive and is expensive to run.

subaru-forester-4x4

Subaru Forester 4×4 (2008 – ) expert review

The Subaru Forester is now more of a 4x4 than an estate car, and features an excellent boxer diesel engine, plus lots of equipment. It’ll be reliable too.

subaru-impreza-hatchback

Subaru Impreza hatchback (2007 – ) expert review

The Subaru Impreza has standard four-wheel drive and an excellent reliability record to make up for some shortcomings. It’s expensive to run, but well equipped.

Subaru WRX STI hatchback (2007 – ) expert review

Subaru WRX STI hatchback (2007 – ) expert review

The Subaru WRX STI hatchback is blisteringly fast on a B-road, thanks to its standard four-wheel drive. It may be expensive to run and have a disappointing cabin, but it does benefit from an excellent reliability record.

Subaru Impreza WRX

Subaru Impreza WRX hatchback (2007 – 2010) expert review

The Subaru Impreza WRX has attempted to go mainstream with its 'European-looking' hatchback bodystyle. It’s still a very quick B-road car but now with added practicality.

Date added: Thursday 23 October 2008.

Subaru Impreza

Subaru Impreza car review

The Subaru Impreza has been the performance car of a generation. With a turbocharged engine and four-wheel drive chassis in an affordable package, it's not hard to see why. But with the latest generation of 'Scooby', the Impreza has evolved from a three-box saloon (and estate) car into a hatchback; and that puts it up against some very impressive opposition.

Subaru Tribeca

Subaru B9 Tribeca car review

Subaru is a manufacturer which has traded on its ability produce quality four wheel drive vehicles for many years, although the B9 Tribeca is the Japanese marque's first SUV. The Subaru B9 Tribeca is unique in the market for being the only model to offer a 'boxer' engine; a layout which Subaru says lowers the centre of gravity for improved handling.
