All-new Mazda 6 to go on sale
The all-new Mazda 6 large family car will go on sale on January 25. It has been re-engineered from the ground up and will start at £19,595. Mazda’s new car will give us an insight into what the new Mondeo, which will arrive early in 2014, will be like as the two cars are based on the same platform.

Revised MX-5 on sale in December
The refreshed Mazda MX-5 roadster and roadster coupe will go on sale in the UK from December 1. The facelifted model gets a modified nose and a more pedestrian-friendly bonnet, whilst some models now come with TomTom satellite navigation. It also now gets side airbags, climate control and a revised chassis.

New Venture Edition models from Mazda
Mazda has announced special editions of both the Mazda3 hatchback and Mazda5 people carrier. Based on the mid-range TS2 versions of each car, they feature front fog lights, gun metal grey alloy wheels, sports front grille, side skirts, rear spoiler and tinted windows.

Subtle revisions keep Mazda MX-5 fresh
Mazda has announced a number of subtle alterations to the MX-5 sports car, designed to improve responsiveness, aerodynamic drag and safety. The headline changes include a reworked throttle pedal actuator, that improves the linearity of acceleration, and a revised brake-booster which ‘optimises brake return control’, according to Mazda.
