Mazda and Alfa Romeo to share MX-5 tech
Mazda and Alfa Romeo have signed an agreement to share the underpinnings of the next-generation MX-5 roadster. The Mazda and Alfa Romeo models will be distinctly styled inside and out by each manufacturer’s designers, but will share the same light weight and rear-wheel drive philosophy.

Mazda CX-5 gets top crash rating
The Mazda CX-5 4x4 has been awarded the top rating by the crash testing body Euro NCAP, making it one of the safest cars on the road. It scored 94 per cent for adult occupant protection and 87 per cent for child occupant protection.

The Mazda CX-5 compact crossover will start at £21,395 when it goes on sale on May 18. The range, which comprises of 18 separate models, stops at £28,795.

New limited-run special edition Mazda MX-5 launched
A new limited edition version of the Mazda MX-5, called Venture Edition, has been unveiled. It is available in either the soft-top convertible body style in entry-level SE spec, or in roadster-coupe form (complete with the world’s fastest folding metal roof) in mid-range Sport Tech trim.
