The 250,000th Land Rover Freelander 2 has just rolled off its production line at the Halewood plant in Merseyside. Production of the Freelander 2 began in 2007, but sales show no sign of slowing.

Freelander 2 SD4 Sport announced
A special edition Land Rover Freelander 2 SD4 Sport model will go on sale from early 2011, costing from £33,945. Only 500 of the enhanced Freelanders will be available in the UK, making them a future collector’s favourite.
