2015 Citroen C4 Blue HDi front

Citroen C4 1.6 BlueHDi Flair Hatchback 5dr Diesel Manual (start/stop) (95 g/km, 120 bhp) Hatchback (2015 - ) expert review

The Citroen C4 is meant to be all about comfort, but its dated chassis fails to deliver on any score. It rides and handles poorly on all but the smoothest roads, the cabin is seriously dated and feels cheap, the rear seats are cramped, and the boot is only just above average. Hard to recommend.

Citroen C1 hatchback

Citroen C1 1.0 Airscape Airdream Flair Convertible 3dr Petrol Manual (88 g/km, 68 bhp) Convertible (2014 - ) expert review

We only had a very brief experience of the C1, and we’ll need to drive it in the UK to give the definitive verdict on whether it is the best city car. But, with funky looks and low running costs, it made a good first impression

Citroen C4 Cactus nose

Citroen C4 Cactus 1.2 Feel Hatchback 5dr Petrol Manual (105 g/km, 81 bhp) Hatchback (2014 - ) expert review

The C4 Cactus is Citroen doing what it does best, providing novel solutions for everyday motoring. With its distinctive looks and low running costs, this is certainly worth a look for anyone who’s after a small family car.

Citroen DS4 hatchback

Citroen DS4 2.0HDi DSport Hatchback 5dr Diesel Manual (130 g/km, 160 bhp) Hatchback (2011 - ) expert review

The Citroen DS4 is something a bit different. A tall, but coupe-like, roofline and lots of chrome trim give it an expensive appearance, but all its glitz has come at a price for practicality.

Citroen Grand C4 Picasso

Citroen Grand C4 Picasso 2.0HDi Exclusive MPV 5dr Diesel Manual (110 g/km, 148 bhp) MPV (2013 - ) expert review

The new Citroen Grand C4 Picasso is a seven-seat version of the sharply-styled, five-seat C4 Picasso. It’s spacious, comfortable and looks great, while providing all the versatility required for a family car. There’s a good range of engines on offer, too, providing a good balance between economy and performance.

Citroen C4 Picasso MPV

Citroen C4 Picasso 1.6e-HDi Airdream VTR+ MPV 5dr Diesel ETG6 (104 g/km, 115 bhp) MPV (2013 - ) expert review

The C4 Picasso is the slowest-selling of Citroen’s range of Picasso vehicles, but its combination of style and practicality makes it one of the best five-seat MPVs

Citroen DS3 cabriolet

Citroen DS3 Cabrio 1.6 DSport Convertible 2dr Petrol Manual (137 g/km, 153 bhp) Convertible (2012 - ) expert review

The Citroen DS3 Cabrio is stylish to look at, decent to drive and classy to sit in. It has its flaws, but so do its main rivals. If you’re looking for a small convertible, give it a look.

Citroen DS5 hatchback

Citroen DS5 2.0HDi DStyle Hatchback 5dr Diesel Manual (133 g/km, 160 bhp) Hatchback (2011 - ) expert review

The upmarket Citroen DS range has been a big success in the UK, and the DS5 is the most luxurious model yet. It has style in abundance.

Citroen C4 1.6TD VTR+ 5dr Hatchback (2010 - ) expert review

The Citroen C4 is meant to be all about comfort, but its dated chassis fails to deliver on any score. It rides poorly on all but the smoothest roads, the cabin is horribly dated, the rear seats are cramped, and the boot is only slightly above average. Hard to recommend, even with a large discount.

Citroen Nemo Multispace MPV

Citroen Nemo Multispace 1.4TD 5dr MPV (2009 - 2012) expert review

The Citroen Nemo Multispace puts practicality and economy before luxury and speed. As a result it’s an ideal family car for those on a budget, looking for something unusual.
