If you long for supercar pace, but you can’t make do with two seats and a tiny boot, then the Audi RS6 could well be the car for you. It may be a sensible executive estate with five seats and an enormous loadbay, but the performance it provides is anything but sensible.

This will make them considerably more attractive to the lucrative company car market. It's in response to arch rivals BMW and Mercedes coming up with super-efficient versions of the 3 Series and C-Class.

This is the third-generation Audi TT coupe. 1998’s original was a style icon but it didn’t really set any hearts racing from behind the wheel. The second-generation came along in 2006 with dramatically improved dynamics but it didn’t quite have the stylistic drama of the original.
