The number 13 is unlucky for some but hopefully not for you, the car buyers, or for the car makers. March sees the introduction of the new ‘13’ registration plate and is traditionally a strong month for new car sales. Last year, 61,868 new cars were registered in the UK in February, whereas 372,835 found new homes in March – quite an improvement.
In this section we will be giving you an insight into what we think are the best cars that will be available to buy with the coveted new plate, why we like them, why we think you should buy them and, most importantly, how much they will cost and how they compare to their rivals. We will look at a range of machinery, from luxury and super cars all the way down to the humble supermini.
