Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has been photographed in a modified Range Rover.
England midfielder Steven Gerrard was snapped as he was driven by wife Alex Curran after a mixed week which was him put in two star performances for Liverpool and be charged by police over an alleged assault in a Southport nightclub.
And this Range Rover intrigued us, featuring a grille not normally seen on one of Britain’s best 4x4s.
A bit of research found Gerrard’s Range Rover had been a woven-mesh front grille and two side vents by California-based modifiers Strut.
The after-sale modification would have set back the Liverpool star around £5,000 – a fraction of his reported £130,000 weekly wage.
The photo reinforces Gerrard’s love for the Range Rover. In the past he has owned a Range Rover Sport HST which appeared on Auto Trader and he has also been spotted behind the wheel of an Overfinch-tuned model.
Other cars owned by Gerrard in the past include a couple of BMW X5s, a Bentley Continental GT and a Mercedes CLK320.
Strut – which was formed in 1983 – also offer what it calls ‘distinctive jewellery collections’ on a host of luxury brands including Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini and Bentley.
Its customers include RnB sensation Chris Brown.
