Liverpool and England star Steven Gerrard’s incredible Range Rover Sport is for sale on Auto Trader.

Liverpool skipper Gerrard has been in brilliant form this season smashing 15 goals including a hat-trick in the recent 5-0 drubbing of Luton Town in the FA Cup.

And the on-road prowess of the Range Rover Sport matches the England international’s on-field presence thanks to a 4.2-litre supercharged engine producing 385bhp and 406lb/ft of pulling power.

This accelerates the 2.5-ton 4x4 from 0-60mph in 9.1 seconds and on to a top speed of 140mph, while boasting some of the best off-road capabilities available on the UK car market.

In recent weeks Gerrard and Liverpool FC have been hitting the headlines more for off the field reasons than on it recently with talks of a possible takeover.

This has led to Gerrard venting his frustrations publicly after this week’s 2-2 draw with Aston Villa.

He said: “I’ve got to be careful with what I say, but it’s (the takeover talks) certainly not helping the team.”

Steven Gerrard is the only owner of the Zambezi silver Range Rover Sport which has been kitted out with a host of extras.

The 2006 Range Rover Sport is the HST model and has a range of differences over the standard supercharged Sport including an electric sunroof, privacy glass and a special bodykit with fog lamps mounted in the spoiler.

Inside, the Range Rover Sport has leather seats, a Harmon Kardon sound system with a CD autochanger, all-round electrics, voice activation, a coolbox and a piano wood trim.

It’s the third time in the past 12 months a car previously owned by the England star has appeared on Auto Trader following his BMW X5 and his Mercedes CLK 320.

Steven Gerrard’s Range Rover Sport – which has covered 18,000 miles and cost more than £65,000 new – is for sale through Yorkshire-based GC motors for £46,490.
