27 February 2008 The new wave of '08' registered cars are ready and will launch next week - and a host of companies are offering up sizzling car deals on the hottest new models. Vijay Pattni rounds up the latest new car deals. Ford Ford is offering a range of new car deals across a massive range of models. The Ford KA is available from £6,995 - £1,000 cheaper than the hot new Fiat 500 – with all models now offering power steering and electric windows as standard. The Ford Fiesta gets a new feature-packed trim level – the Fiesta Blue. The hot supermini now comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, Quickclear heated windscreen, air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity with voice control, rain-sensing wipers and power-fold door mirrors – for £8,995.
And to top off Ford's hot new car deals, the 2007 European Car of the Year – the Ford S-MAX – now comes with Bluetooth connectivity as standard across the range, with prices starting from £17,495.
Peugeot The French carmaker is offering a host of hot new car deals to usher in the new '08' plates.
The Peugeot 1007 – with the sliding passenger doors – is now available with a £500 customer saving and starts at £11,180. Buyers can bag an 08-registered Peugeot 206 – which has sold over six million cars worldwide – for £7,595 which includes a £1,000 customer saving. And the new Peugeot 308 is now being offered with a free complimentary specification upgrade – for example, buy a Peugeot 308 S and you could drive off with a higher-spec Peugeot 308 Sport.
Suzuki
And Suzuki has specced out the supermini-MPV with a host of standard fit features – all models get six airbags, electronic stability control, a CD tuner with MP3 player and steering-wheel mounted audio controls, a leather trimmed steering wheel, remote central locking, front electric windows, air-conditioning and an information display. Citroen
Citroen is offering a massive 23 models which fall under Tax Band B – making them exempt from the London Congestion Charge, including the funky new Citroen C1 Code which starts from £7,495 and gets 14-inch alloy wheels, a CD player, electric windows and four airbags.
