12 September 2007 View bigger and better pictures of the Lamborghini Reventon Lamborghini has unveiled its most extreme production car ever – the 650bhp Lamborghini Reventon. The monstrous 6.5-litre V12 engine found in the Murcielago LP640 will power the new Lamborghini Reventon, launching the hypercar from 0-62mph (100kph) in just 3.4 seconds and on to a top speed of 211 mph. This huge power will be channelled to all four wheels via a semi-automatic six-speed gearbox. But you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled to see one. It's been announced just one Lamborghini Reventon will be coming to the And the price for this limited edition Lambo? £800,000 – £30,000 less than the Bugatti Veyron. Just 20 Lamborghini Reventons will be made at the Italian carmaker's factory. Featuring an all-new carbon-fibre bodyshape with massive cooling ducts on the front and side skirts, the Reventon features Lamborghini’s trademark upward-opening doors. Inside, the instrument panels have been replaced by three jet-inspired TFT screens housed inside a solid aluminium block, with the interior clothed in leather, Alcantara and carbon fibre.
