Premiership champions Manchester United are building a bigger car park – because their players' massive motors won't fit.

Stars have complained their cars won't fit in the standard-sized spaces at the team's Carrington training ground, according to today's Sun newspaper.

Wayne Rooney has bought a huge top-of-the-range Hummer H2 costing £70,000, while pals Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs drive Range Rovers and winger Cristiano Ronaldo has a Bentley Continental GT.

"The lads keep trying to outdo one another with bigger and bigger motors. When Ronaldo car pulls up it looks as wide as a house – it's huge" an insider told reporters.

"We never know what they are going to come to work in next."
