Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, who led the Reds to a stunning 4-0 victory over Real Madrid by scoring twice, is the only owner of this 2008 57-plate Range Rover Vogue which has been modified by prestigious English company Overfinch.
Fitted with an up-rated 3.6-litre V8 diesel engine, Gerrard’s Overfinch Range Rover Vogue develops 328bhp and 582lb/ft of pulling power.
Gerrard – who is still the current owner of the Overfinch – bought it in February 2008 and he and wife Alex have covered 19,800 miles in it.
The Range Rover Vogue cost £61,000 as standard but Gerrard spent a further £22,000 on getting the Overfinch treatment.
Overfinch – which has specialised in Range Rovers since 1975 – has fitted the Range Rover Vogue with a new bodykit, which cost more than £6,000 and a set of 22-inch alloy wheels at a price of £4,150.
Other modifications on the invoice show £700 spent on wool rugs, £705 spent on new brake calipers, £1,880 on a DVD system and £2,900 spent on a bespoke hand-stitched leather interior.
And on each armrest is the number 8 - the shirt number Gerrard uses when playing for Liverpool.
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is renowned for his love of cars, in particular 4x4s having owned a selection of Range Rovers including a Sport HST which appeared on Auto Trader last year.
He was photographed recently being driven by wife Alex in a Range Rover which had been customised by Californian company Strut.
Other cars the England star has owned include a Bentley Continental GT, Aston Martin Vanquish, Ferrari F430, Porsche 911 Turbo, Porsche Cayenne Turbo, a couple of BMW X5s and a Mercedes CLK 320.
Jeremy Clarkson described the Range Rover TDV8 Vogue as the best car in the world.
In a recent column, the Top Gear star said: “It’s a Rolls-Royce when it’s on the motorway and a tractor when it isn’t. And it’ll do 25mpg to boot.”
- Saturday sees Liverpool, captained by Steven Gerrard, play a potential title decider against old rivals Manchester United - with Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo sure to feature. View pictures of Ronaldo's damaged Ferrari 599 below.
