The £800,000 Reventon accelerates from 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds before running on to a top speed of 211mph

Official footage of 2008’s most extreme hypercar, the Lamborghini Reventon has been posted on the internet.

As with the £800,000 car’s design, Lamborghini has taken inspiration from military jet fighters, filming the video through hi-tech night vision techniques.

But it gives a clear vision of Lamborghini’s most ambitious car ever, showcasing the Reventon’s gorgeous body and radical interior.

Under the fighter jet-inspired design lies the underpinnings from the Lamborghini Reventon LP640, including the hypercar’s monstrous 6.5-litre V12 engine.

Producing 650bhp and 486lb/ft of pulling power, the Reventon accelerates from 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds before running on to a top speed of 211mph.

Inside, the Lamborghini Reventon has an LCD display screen which features a G-force meter – like those seen in fighter jets.

Just 20 Lamborghini Reventons will ever be built making it one of the most exclusive cars ever made.

But if you want one, you’ll have to keep an eye on Auto Trader for a used bargain as they’ve all been pre-sold.
