Mansory modifies the Porsche Panamera

Hold onto your breakfast – Swiss tuner Mansory has turned its hand to the Porsche Panamera.
Famous for making quite possibly the most outrageous modified Porsche Cayenne – the ‘Chopster’ – pimping up British brands like Bentley and even modding the Bugatti Veyron, Mansory has decided to kit out another Porsche.
And first impressions are striking.

Featuring a gaping front grille probably used in the winter to clear snow from Mansory’s homeland Alps, the special bodykit showcases what Mansory describes as “an individual design language according to our tradition”.
For ‘individual design language’, read ‘monster mouth’.
The special bodykit is made from high-strength polyurethane and something called ‘Prepreg-Autoclav-Carbon’ – apparently the “characteristic” materials used by the Swiss tuning firm.
The Mansory Panamera comprises revised wide side sills and a modified rear valance giving it more booty than Beyonce, together with 21-inch bespoke alloy wheels filling out those considerable arches nicely.
The suspension has been lowered by 35mm and the Panamera gets a sports exhaust system, giving the GT Porker what Mansory describes a “significantly more visual and audible personality”. Basically, a posh Max Power special…
Mansory will equip the interior of your modified Panamera with a variety of leather colours, individually matched to “the most precious woods, finest varnish or dynamic carbon”. The pedals are brushed aluminium while the steering wheel also gets a once over with the modifying brush.
The engines remain standard – which means you can choose from the 4.8-litre V8 Panamera S (400bhp) right up to the twin-turbocharged 4.8-litre V8 Panamera Turbo (500bhp).
But this isn’t the first Panamera to go under the tuning scalpel – modifiers can’t seem to keep their hands off Stuttgart’s newest progeny, with efforts from 911 specialists Gemballa, 9ff and Lumma.
Here at Auto Trader we reckon this Mansory Panamera will debut on some Premiership footballer’s drive in the near future. Watch this space…
