One-off £500,000 Rolls-Royce snapped in London
We couldn’t believe it when we saw these photos. Love it or loathe it, this Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit Mark IV customised by DC Designs is quite simply spectacular.

And unlike any other Roller, this DC Designs model has upwards-opening doors like the ones seen on a Lamborghini Murcielago.

It’s believed the car is owned by the world’s biggest car collector, the Sultan of Brunei.

You’re tyred! Sir Alan Sugar’s Rolls-Royce Phantom for sale
Viewers of the BBC hit show The Apprentice will be familiar with the sight of Sir Alan Sugar turning up in his Rolls-Royce Phantom with the registration plate AMS1.

And that very car popped up on Auto Trader in June, minus the plate, for the sum of £179,000 after Sir Alan had bought himself a new Phantom.

Lewis Hamilton’s dad crashes a Porsche
The father of Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton spectacularly pranged a Porsche Carrera GT in Hertfordshire.

No-one was hurt but thousands of pounds of damage was caused to the Carrera GT convertible

Mr Hamilton told The Sun: "This is my first crash in almost 30 years and it had to happen in someone else's car.

"Thankfully the only thing hurt was the car and a bush fence, for which I am extremely sorry."

First official details of Ford Focus RS released
Ford released official shots of the hotly-anticipated Focus RS testing at the Nürbürgring – putting a massive smile on the faces of fast Ford fans.

Jost Capito, Ford of Europe’s vehicle line director for performance vehicles, said at the time: “We’re staying true to the core RS principles of a no-compromise, affordable high performance road car you can live with.

“The new Ford Focus RS will have the muscles, heart and soul of a genuine RS and will be exciting to drive every day.”

Dubai royalty sell sensational Range Rover
In 2004, the Range Stormer concept appeared at the Detroit Motor Show, featuring gullwing doors and a glass roof – but it never saw production.

So US tuners West Coast Customs modified three Range Rover Sports to look like the Stormer.

The Dubai Royal Family were selling theirs earlier this year for around £230,000.
