Goodwood 2009: Latest Veyron to make debut

This year's Goodwood Festival of Speed will play host to some of the most hotly-anticipated new cars in the world, after it was announced the incredible Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport will make its way up the iconic hill.
The Grand Sport is the latest in a line of Veyrons, but is the only roadster in the range. Bugatti say the standard car's 250mph-plus top speed is still possible, but wind-in-the-hair thrills will stop at 'just' 217mph.
It will line up alongside a host of other motoring marvels – some making their UK debuts – including:
• Mercedes McLaren SLR Stirling Moss
• Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M
• Pagani Zonda R
• Tramontana
• Porsche Panamera S
• Audi R8 V10
• Morgan Aero SuperSports
• Aston Martin V12 Vantage
• Lotus Evora
• Lexus LF-A
• Nissan GT-R Spec V
Car makers are fast seeing the FoS as a great way of getting their crazy concepts seen. This year's undoubted star is the GTbyCitroen – a supercar born out of the Gran Turismo computer game that may still yet see limited production. Other concepts include the Bertone Mantide, Ital Design Frazer Nash Namir, Infiniti Essence and Rinspeed Projekt iChange
Alfa Romeo, Ariel, Bentley, BMW, Caparo, Jaguar, Koenigsegg, Lamborghini, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Pagani, RUF and Spyker will also bring their latest models.
More modest pockets can check out more than a dozen new cars making their UK public debuts. Cars include:
• Mazda 3
• Mercedes E-Class saloon and coupe
• Mercedes E 63 AMG
• Ford Focus RS
• Alpina B7
• Vauxhall Insignia VXR
• Audi A1 concept
• Audi TT RS
• Audi S5 Cabriolet
• Infiniti G37 Convertible
