Failed your driving test? So did he - Jenson Button

Even F1 world champions get driving test nerves.

Jenson Button, who won the F1 title in Brazil last weekend, failed his driving test at the first attempt.

His former driving instructor told the Daily Telegraph: "He failed his test because he got into racing mode and nipped through a small gap on a notoriously narrow road without blinking an eyelid.

"The examiner didn't like it because it was too close for comfort, but Jenson took it on the chin."

Button's skill for judging narrow gaps served him well as he raced from 14th to fifth in Sunday's race to claim the championship. But it cost the 17-year-old a first-time pass.

Button's not the only famous face who failed to get a first time pass. Model Jodie Kidd and Ashes to Ashes star Phil Glenister also passed on their second attempts.

Having long since past his test, Button now has an enviable selection of cars at his disposal when he's away from the track.

He's giving up his Bugatti Veyron, which is for sale on Auto Trader. And he admits to being a fan of the Mercedes C63 AMG.
