Economical Subaru Justy on sale
23 November 2007
The super-economical Subaru Justy has gone on sale, offering low cost motoring with lots of extras for £8,495.
Its most attractive feature is its 64.2mpg average fuel economy and low 118g/km emissions levels, meaning annual road tax of £35 and exemption from the London Congestion Charge when the law changes next year.
A 1-litre engine producing 68bhp accelerates the Subaru Justy from 0-60mph in 13.5 seconds and to a top speed of 99mph. The engine is shared with the Daihatsu Sirion, Toyota Aygo, Citroen C1 and Peugeot 107.
Standard safety equipment includes anti-lock brakes with electronically controlled distribution to help prevent skids and driver, passenger, side and front and rear curtain airbags.
Other features include alloy wheels, air conditioning, CD player, trip computer, four electric windows, reversing sensors, remote central-locking, alarm and ISOFIX child seat anchorage points.
The small Subaru has a tight turning circle of 9.4 metres, which is handy for town driving.
A five-year or 60,000 mile warranty and five year UK and European breakdown cover are included in the £8,495 price.
