Grammy winner Shakira spices up Seat

Latino pop star Shakira has designed a one-off Seat Leon Cupra hot hatch to raise money for charity.

Shakira - who turned 30 today - chose a striking metallic lilac for her Leon Cupra, and selected a set of 18-inch wheels for the 235bhp hot hatch.

The Leon will be given to the winner of a competition who text messages their details to 81161.

The lucky winner will be presented with the 235bhp flagship model in June at the Barcelona Motor Show.

For each text sent, £1 will go to the Colombian singer’s charity Fundacion Pies Descalzos (Bare Feet Foundation), which provides opportunities for deprived children in her home country.

Deadline for entry is May 15.
