Partly thanks to being smaller than the weighty Phantom, it will also be more sporty and dynamic to drive. Chief designer, Ian Cameron, said: “Effortless performance and standard-setting levels of comfort and efficiency, executed with the utmost care and attention, remain fundamentals of Rolls-Royce design. “The RR4 has a more informal presence than the Phantom models with a greater emphasis on driving. In design terms this is expressed through its slightly smaller dimensions and more organic form, yet with powerful, purposeful proportions. “It is a true and uncompromising Rolls-Royce in every sense.” View more pictures of the Rolls Royce Phantom Rolls-Royce has announced they finished design work on the RR4 in 2007 and development is now fully underway. To cope with the new demands of building it, extensive changes have been made to the Rolls-Royce car plant in Goodwood. The parts of the facility which finish the paint, wood and leather for car production have been expanded and a second assembly line has been built. And, when production starts, the company workers will move to a two shift system so cars can be built around the clock. The incredible Rolls Royce Phantom |
