24 September 2007 One of the world’s most exclusive cars is for sale on Auto Trader – a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe. The Rolls is priced at £399,950 – nearly £100,000 over the list price. But this will enable you to avoid the 18-month waiting list for a new Phantom Drophead. The luxurious four-seat convertible is powered by a 6.7-litre V12 engine which produces 453bhp, propelling the Rolls from 0-60mph in just 5.7 seconds. And the two and a half tonne heavyweight will comfortably cruise up to a top speed of 149mph. Rolls-Royce has not disclosed how many Drophead Coupes it has sold since the car’s launch in May. The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe features 21-inch alloy wheels, sat-nav, a ‘squeak-free’ leather interior made from the hides of 17 bulls, electrically-adjustable heated seats with memory function, and a bespoke teak-deck trim.
