David Beckham bags a black Porsche 911
24 September 2008 Football superstar David Beckham has been spotted in Los Angeles showcasing his new ride – a blacked-out Porsche 911 Turbo. But Beckham’s new ride is no ordinary Porsche 911 – the black Porker sports custom ‘deep-dish’ alloy wheels, blacked-out headlights and a colour-coded bodykit. And it looks as if Beckham’s new Porsche – which adds to his already-impressive car collection – has a blacked-out Porsche badge. But if he’s left it standard, the drop-top 911 Turbo comes fitted with a twin-turbocharged 3.6-litre flat-six ‘boxer’ engine producing a colossal 480bhp. The 911 Turbo accelerates from 0-62mph in just FOUR seconds and hits a top speed of 193mph. Beckham’s new custom black 911 convertible adds to the superstar footballer’s impressive garage. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star – who is married to “Posh Spice” Victoria Beckham – has owned some of the world’s most lusted-after dream machines. His cars have included a Ferrari 575 Maranello, a Ferrari F430, a Lamborghini Gallardo, a Rolls Royce Phantom and an Aston Martin V8 from the 1970s. Beckham also owned an armour-plated BMW X5, a Lincoln Navigator and a GMC Yukon Denali – which was up for sale on Auto Trader.
