Peugeot 206 CC gets cheaper

Peugeot has rearranged its 206 CC convertible range with a cheaper new entry-level model and new diesel options.
At £13,495, the 206 CC Zest is £1500 cheaper than the previous entry-level model.
Although it uses the same 110bhp 1.6-litre engine as before, the Zest misses out on equipment that used to be standard across the range including alloy wheels and air-conditioning. A CD player with steering wheel-mounted controls, remote central locking, electric windows, electric door mirrors and twin front airbags are fitted as standard.
However, alloy wheels and air-con are fitted to the new 1.6 Sport, which costs £500 more at £13,995. The new 1.6-litre diesel model is also offered in Sport trim for £14,995.
Topping the new range is the 206 CC Allure. It costs £14,995 with the 1.6-litre petrol engine, £15,695 with the diesel or 138bhp 2.0-litre petrol. Added equipment includes climate control, leather interior, upgraded stereo, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, and side airbags.
