Exclusive pics of Nissan's new Skyline supercar
25 June 2007 Auto Trader has the latest pictures of the Nissan GT-R demonstrated at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The shots reveal a deep front air intake and quad pipe exhausts, hinting at the substantial power under the bonnet. Formerly known as the Skyline GT-R, the replacement will be known simply as the GT-R. Nissan plans to take on Audi’s R8 with the machine. No technical details have been revealed yet but a 4.5 litre V8 engine with 450bhp has been rumoured. Nissan has been fine-tuning the car’s handling on the mighty Nürburgring Nordschleife. The Japanese manufacturer will reveal the finished car at the Tokyo Motor Show in October. Check out our slide show of the GT-R prototype. Auto Trader links Hero Hamilton thrills Goodwood crowd
