Audi has taken the wraps off its Audi Q7 Coastline Concept, the most powerful Q7 so far and the world’s most powerful diesel production car.

The Audi Q7 Coastline Concept features the 6-litre V12 TDI from the Audi R8 V12 TDI concept, with a colossal 500bhp and 758lb/ft of pulling power.

This power means the Audi Q7 Coastline Concept rushes from 0-62mph in just 5.5 seconds, while its top speed is artificially limited to 155mph.

Power is harnessed by a six-speed semi-automatic gearbox and Audi’s Quattro four-wheel-drive system. Racing developed brakes which are made from ceramic instead of steel and should provide huge stopping power.

Outside, the Audi is finished in a ‘pearl effect’ white hue which Audi claims has more depth than normal paint and is reminiscent of ice.

The huge Audi front grille and smaller side intake slots are finished in ‘high gloss’ steel and the wheelarches are wider than those fitted to the regular Audi Q7.

Inside, the changes are more drastic and yacht themed. Every surface has been finished in bright white, including the carpet, roof lining, pillar trim, leather seat upholstery, steering wheel, door trim, seatbelts and even the dashboard and switches

Also on show is American walnut, as used on yacht decking. It makes up the boot flooring, and it can be found on the door trims and gear knob.

The Audi Q7 Coastline Concept makes its debut at the Geneva Motor Show this week, and we will be there to bring you all the news from the show, so be sure to check back.
