“This is it – this is the very best of Aston Martin”.
And the crowds flocking around the most breathtaking Aston ever is proof that the One-77 is no ordinary car.
Ladies and gentlemen – the Aston Martin One-77 has made its
Following its international launch at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, the Aston Martin One-77 has finally landed on home turf at the Hurlingham Club in Putney.
The One-77 is the most expensive and exclusive Aston Martin model in production, featuring a 7.3-litre V12 engine developing more than 700bhp.
Speaking to Auto Trader, Aston Martin reckons the car – which is fully functioning – produces “between 700bhp and 750bhp.”
This prodigious power means the Aston will complete the 0-62mph dash in just 3.5 seconds and storm on to a top speed well in excess of 200mph – giving a shock to the supercar ranks.

Just 77 models of the One-77 will be made, and delivered to a select group of high net worth individuals – so it’s unlikely your average premiership footballer will get his hands on one.
“We’ve sold around half of the 77 quota”, says our man. And by the looks of the assembled throng, we’re guessing he’s going to sell a hell of a lot more over the next three days at Salon Prive.
The Aston takes craftsmanship to another level. The body panels are made from hand-rolled aluminium, the ‘structural core’ is a lightweight carbon fibre monocoque ‘tub’ and the whole project was inspired by the DTM race series.
In fact, the car is so bespoke, Aston says once it has been delivered to its owner, the suspension settings are infinitely tuned to the driver’s exact requirements.
Aston says “the One-77 promises a driving experience of unrivalled intensity and excitement while representing the world’s most desirable automotive art form”.
We say – just look at it. Right, time to find out how much can I get for selling a kidney…
