German tuner Mansory has managed to out-Bugatti Bugatti at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show with this – the Veyron-based Linea Vincero.

Located in the middle of the outrageous Mansory stand, the Linea Vincero is a pure piece of automotive artwork thanks to its impeccable attention to detail.

Last week the motoring world was getting excited about the prospect of Bugatti unveiling a 1,350bhp version of its Veyron to celebrate the marque’s 100th anniversary.

But the rumours turned out to be false with the hypercar maker unveiling the Centenaire – a Veyron with a new paintjob but no more power.

So it was left to Mansory, who tweaked the Veyron’s air intake and exhaust to raise power by 108bhp to 1,109bhp.

But it’s the bodywork modifications which grabbed our attention on the Mansory stand at Geneva – it’s simply staggering.

The carbon fibre paintjob looks brilliant alongside the new gold-coloured alloy wheels while the grille gets the letter V shaped into it – a small but intricate modification.

Inside, the Vincero gets white leather seats which work well alongside the carbon fibre trim.

The Linea Vincero now firmly establishes Mansory as the world’s premier customizer of luxury vehicles.

It’s hard to fault the detail and effort they put into their products. Sitting alongside the Linea Vincero are the Cayenne-based Chopster, a Porsche 911 Turbo and Bentley Continental GT Speed which really grabbed our attention.

And at last year’s show Mansory was showing off its customised Ferrari 599, Mercedes McLaren SLR and Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Just three Linea Vinceros will be built – and they are available through the Abu Dhabi dealership Prestige Cars.

Mansory don’t quote a price for the Linea Vincero but we expect it to cost at least £1.2 million – which makes it look cheap compared to the Bugatti Veyron Centenaire which costs £1.38 million.
