Mini spices up options packs
15 October 2003 Salt, Pepper and Chili will all feature an on-board computer that would normally cost £100, while Pepper adds the Mini Cooper S steering wheel (worth £120), and Chili gets a new sports steering wheel. In most cases, the cost of each pack rises, but Mini says they still represent a saving of 30-40% over buying the items individually. Salt is available only on the Mini One for between £300 and £350, and adds floor mats, silver interior trim and front fog lights. Pepper is available on either the One (£700-750) or the Cooper (£450), and includes 15-inch alloy wheels, chrome exterior trim and front foglights. Chili is available only on the Cooper or Cooper S (£1300 and £1500 respectively) and brings sports suspension, sports seats and cloth/leather interior trim. |
