13 March 2003 Meanwhile, at the other end of the BMW range, the extensive list of options and accessories for the MINI has got even longer. A range of bespoke luggage, made by Samsonite, has been designed to fit snugly into the MINI's boot; it comprises a large tote bag, an airline case and washbag, and a duffel bag, all bearing MINI branding. This is called the MINI Pack, and costs £365 from MINI dealers. The range of MINI accessories and options has proved to be very popular, with very few MINI buyers specifying a 'standard' car. MINI specialist Mike Cooper, of John Cooper Garages, told 4car this week that his customers are spending on average between £20,000 and £25,000 on their MINIs, including the cost of the BMW-approved John Cooper Works performance upgrade kits, and, in many cases, the Works suspension and styling mods as well as the common options of climate control, satellite navigation, twin sunroofs and uprated audio systems.
