This Tokyo Motor Show Mini Traveller concept is designed to provide hints for next year's new Mini, as well as show 'Japanese appreciation for all things British'.

It has a green interior, and indicators sporting the Union Jack.

The concept also has a table and two chairs stored in the roof for days out at the cricket, while a cargo box from the rear of the car can also be attached to the side window for picnics.

Front seats rotate, while more tables swing out from the rear passenger compartment to keep that cuppa close to hand.

The Traveller is widely expected to be the next development of the modern-day Mini, but whether the Tokyo treats for the car have any chance of making production is more doubtful.
